I invited people to what I called an interactive experience inviting people to drink while I read poems about gin, whiskey, and pabst. It was my 40th birthday and I title the show after all the ways people told me I would end up dead ended and that fact that I was a successful instead. I created posters based off of typograpphy from my preferred brands at the time and created a pamphlet in the form of what you would get when you go to a memorial service and handed them out to attendees. Twitter also had a broadcast function and I used that to cast out to the twitter-verse at the time.
